One Last Time

Take my hand and let us walk together one last time. Let us walk where we have traveled before, down those paths so familiar and old.

Let us talk of things gone past and those that will not come about. And shall we not talk of those to come, even though it may be hard to think upon?

Take my hand and let us walk awhile, or in silent space quietly stay . Let me give to you, if I can, the strength to carry on, at least until you have finished what is to be done. Then you can be on your way, without leaving any undone.

Let us talk of the joys once shared, and of those only experienced with one so close and dear. Let us talk of the times we found to laugh and of those we stopped to wonder at.

So take my hand and let me walk with you as far as I can. Let us walk along until you see the way, till no longer you need to fear. Then you will be free, the way quite clear.

Let us talk of what we found to draw us near, and of that which stays so clear on each and every day.

Yes, lets walk and talk together this one last time, and Let each know we've set aside regrets of times past, or those not in future to behold. We have done this many times, you and I, but let us do it now, just this one last time.

Let us walk together and talk, or in silence do convey how much we have meant, you and I, together through all this time on each and every day. I shall let you go in quiet reprise, but let me walk with you as far as I can... just this one last time.
