Independence Day

On a day not so long ago, our forefathers united, a "tea party" was their goal, one rode paths to warn of the "red coats" approach, another shouted the rebel's anthem, "give me liberty or give me death", in a city of brotherhood a liberty bell rang out the sound, America's  independence was declared. They stood their ground at Concord, crossed the Delaware, and fought the battles strong, bringing freedom to you and me.

From the thirteen to 50, from the Atlantic to the prairies, across the mountains high to the loud Pacific roar, north to McKinley land and out to the isles of soft white sands, the cry of Freedom rings throughout our lands, "Liberty and Justice for All!"

People young and old gathering,    pausing from life's daily toils, sharing in celebration the dreams born of a "promised land", drums and snares herald the marching bands, trumpets loud blare, the Stars and Strips waving in the air, and rockets red glare  stir passionate pride in the hearts of all.....God Bless America, land that we love!
