A Memorial Day Salute
To those who have come and gone,
you stood your ground in many
ways on land, sea and air, you
lads and lassies fought and died
in every War so freedom might live
where liberty is honored and
democracy reigns.
Tis on this Day we salute the valor brave,
the sacrifice so deeply made
and raise our hand to heart and brow
and say in tribute with everlasting pride
and respect, "we thank thee one and all!"
