Heaven's New Shining Star

There is a new star in

Heaven tonight, it shines

 ever so bright, and sparkles

with light so might.

 

It has been placed there by

 God's own loving hands, like

 a polished diamond it lights

the skies, this new shining

star in Heaven tonight.

 

I stood alone far upon the

 mountain where I sought

the comfort and release I

 knew could be found, and

 there I saw it clearly like a

 thousand candles glowing

 in the dark, its brilliance

 blinking so boldly, so

beautiful to behold this new

shining star in heaven

 tonight.

 

When ever I feel lonely or

saddened by your plight,

 I shall seek a site where in

silent prayer I might light a

candle its sparkle to join

this new shining Star in     

heaven tonight.
