Somewhere
Somewhere out there tonite
a new baby cries, a mother sings
a lullaby and somewhere a lover
reaches to the sky in anguish cry.
Yes, and somewhere in time
a poem is born, a song is written
the words to be heard bringing
a peacefulness to all who hear.
And somewhere tonight someone
is at an end, the final curtain has
been called and then the sad,
sorrowful sighs shall start.
Yes and somewhere in time a
destiny is found bringing renewal
to those that care to seek, paths
now opened for you and me.
Out there somewhere tonight
a stranger passes, the other
not seen, loneliness is such a
singular thing.
Somewhere in time peoples
come together, and mankind
celebrates a new brotherhood,
war a forgotten thing.
Tonight, someone somewhere is
looking to the heavens seeking
answers from the stars, and a
hand reaches to soothe a troubled
soul.
In time somewhere, the storms
will end, strife will cease, the
forlorn will be relieved, and
harmony shall rule with an
even hand.
So here tonight, in this time we
sing a song of rejoice, harmony
shall be found, peace to share
all around for those who care.
